Tuition

We offer stand alone half day sessions, with one to one tuition, with a maximum of two people, on a wide range of ceramic techniques to improve your skills. Previous experience with clay preferred.

For example, learn to throw large, explore how to make up your own glazes, become an expert in electric kiln firing or discover raku decoration and firing

£85 per person for a half day, 9.30-12.30

Located in the heart of Ashdown Forest

Ashdown Pottery is located on the edge of the village of Fairwarp, in the heart of the southern end of Ashdown Forest. There are lovely walks in every direction from the pottery and the Foresters Arms, a traditional village pub serving great food and drink, is only a hundred yards away.
